Employment type: Full-time
Salary range: $25–$55 per hour, with overtime, a weekly pay schedule, and rapid advancement. Our pay sits near the top of the DFW market for commercial journeyman work.

Responsibilities

  • Perform commercial service calls and light commercial installations across the DFW metroplex
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial wiring, panels, switchgear, and three-phase systems
  • Run conduit and pull wire to code for tenant finish-outs and build-outs
  • Diagnose electrical issues and communicate clearly with facility managers, GCs, and business owners about repairs and upgrades
  • Read and work from blueprints, plans, and specifications
  • Coordinate with building staff and other trades to keep projects on schedule
  • Log time and materials per job, monitor inventory, and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure adherence to NEC and all applicable safety regulations
  • Mentor apprentices and assist master electricians on larger commercial projects

Qualifications

  • Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license issued by TDLR and completion of a recognized apprenticeship program
  • Commercial electrical experience — service work, tenant finish-out, or light commercial construction
  • Working knowledge of commercial systems (three-phase power, conduit bending, panel and switchgear installation)
  • Ability to read blueprints and interpret job specs
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check
